Wealthsimple Trade is only available through our mobile app and thus all withdrawals must be initiated through the app.
First, click the icon in the top-left corner of your screen to open the sidebar and select "Funding". Under the funding tab, you will next select the option that says "Withdraw funds." You'll be able to submit a request to withdraw from your available funds by following the prompts & selecting a linked bank account to send the funds to!
Please note that you can only request to withdraw settled cash in your account. If you would like to withdraw more than the amount available in your "Currently available to withdraw" balance, you'll need to sell the necessary amount of assets and wait for the trades to settle (two business days) before being able to withdraw the additional funds.
Once a withdrawal request is submitted, cash is sent to your bank account within 2-3 business days. Please note that while we send the funds within this timeframe, banks can sometimes take 1 business day to post funds to your bank account.
Please also note that as an internal risk control, new deposits take 5 business days to clear before they become eligible to be withdrawn.
