When you submit your in-kind transfer and Wealthsimple Trade doesn’t support some of your assets, our Client Experience team will reach out to you via email to confirm whether you would like to liquidate these positions or leave them behind at your relinquishing institution.
Once confirmed, we'll submit these instructions right away and your transfer will continue!
Please keep in mind that your institution may charge you fees (which we can't reimburse) to liquidate these securities. For more information on the fees, it would be best to get in touch with your institution.
