Due to unprecedented market volatility as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently experiencing extremely high trading volumes. To ensure the best experience for all our clients, we have implemented a temporary waitlist for new Wealthsimple Trade clients.
How long will I have to wait before I can begin trading?
At this time, we cannot give you an exact estimate but we hope to get you trading as soon as possible! We’ll email you as soon as you’ve been moved off of the waitlist. We appreciate your patience.
Can you move me up the waitlist? I want to begin trading!

How can I withdraw my funds from Wealthsimple Trade?
All new deposits are subject to a 5 business day hold starting from the day they leave your bank account — you’ll be able to withdraw the funds once this hold is complete. Please follow these instructions to submit your withdrawal.
